I have an agent that is supposed to create an e-mail in response to a request and make it come from the person who entered the record. When the e-mail gets to its destination the Return-Path is always the agent signer and no matter what I do I can’t override it.
Here’s what I have:
Call docMemo.ReplaceItemValue(“Principal”, “User Name <UName@domain.com@DOMAIN>”)
Call docMemo.ReplaceItemValue(“InetFrom”, “User Name UName@domain.com”)
Call docMemo.ReplaceItemValue(“ReplyTo”, “UName@domain.com”)
Call docMemo.ReplaceItemValue(“From”, “UName@domain.com”)
Call docMemo.Send(False, “me@gmail.com”)
On my my gmail account it shows:
Return-Path: AgentSigner@domain.com
From: User Name UName@domain.com
Reply-To: UName@domain.com
I can’t figure out when/where/how the Return-Path is getting set. I read the tip on codestore.net, and I read every entry in this forum that deals with spoofing e-mail. As far as I can tell I’m doing everything correctly, but I’m apparently missing something.
Thanks,
Charles
