Can't enable File-->Application-->Install in Notes 8.5.1!

Hi,

I’m trying to enable the Install menu item in File–> Application menu path.

I shut the Notes and edited the file \framework\rcp\plugin_customization.ini and added the line

com.ibm.notes.branding/enable.update.ui=true

(with a new line at the end). I started the Notes again, but I still don’t see the Install menu.

It worked for me in Notes 8.5

Am I missing something?

It is a sub in the Policymanagement script libraries called from the querysave on the ‘desktop settings’ form.

The provisioning was disabled in the policy. So I enabled it and when clicked Save and Close, I got this error:

lotus domino Cannot find external name: CONVERTLONGNAMEFIELDS

But when I open the policy document again I see the new value in that field. But Its not getting reflected in the Notes client. I restarted the Notes client, still the Install menu is not showing up.
