Can't delete database from Server

I have a replica of my names.nsf file on the server in the /roaming/myname folder, where it belongs. Before I set up roaming, I had also tried to make a single replica of the database in another folder on the server. Now, I can’t get rid of that other replica. Actually, more accurately, I can get rid of it, but it comes back at the next replication.

I have deleted the database both from the Linux OS and from Domino Administrator, Database Delete. Everytime it replicates with the Notes client, however, it replicates both to the proper file in the roaming folder, and then it recreates the other file that I deleted.

How do I make this stop?

OK, I checked this morning and the database is gone. I forced several replications with the client and it has not reappeared. The only explanation I can think of is that there was some record in the server that this replica was supposed to be there, and it took time to remove that record?

Very confused, but glad the second replica is gone.
