Can't delete calendar entry's. Tried actions, buttons, agents (oh my!)

I noticed a discrepency in the number of documents in my mail database. Upon investigation, I created an all docs view (no filters), and found 500+ old calendar entries. I tried cutting, deleting, an archive agent and even an agent to purge the docs by view, using the Remove() method. Nothing will remove them!

They are old, with their end date already past.

Any suggestions?

Stupid question: Do you have permission to delete documents in the database?

I may have found a workaround. Turning off soft deletions, and then deleting using the plain old delete key seems to work.
