Cant Change Default Fonts

A user goes into File, Preferences, User Preferences and changes the Default Fonts to their liking.

They click OK then exit notes and come back in to find the fonts went back to default.

Any ideas why this is happening?

The user is Manager of their mail file.

Have you checked the user is the database owner (tools/preerences) ?

yes they are the owner of their mail file.

They have Editor access in the access control list.
