I am unable to use the remote debugger. I have allowed the scheduled agent for remote debugging and set up the server as per the documentation (including setting the Agent Wait at StartTime to 30 seconds). The RDEBUG task is running on the server and the server console shows that the RDEBUG task is providing a service for my IP address. When I run the agent using the tell amgr run “db.nsf” ‘agentName’ command, I start the remote debugger and select the target database to open, but when I try to open the database, the mouse pointer changes to an hour glass several times and then back to a pointer (this suggests that some process is running in the background). No agents are listed.
I have read some postings that say that the default TCP port does not work for some and changed to their suggested port 1355, but the same is happening.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this, or what may be going wrong?
