Cannot use Java to call Domino locally with Linux

I tried this a while ago with Pre release 2 , and it still doesn’t seems to work or I go wrong somewhere :

Using the 3 “methods” to make local calls on a linux machine leads to err 4103 Notes Initialization Failure (I verified the path , classpath … 3 times),

Trying to call a Session with CORBA (locally!?!) leads to a Connect exception cannot get IOR , (and it doesn’t work either with getIOR()).

Is there someone out there that can create sessions locally on a Domino Linux Machine ???

I did get this to work, but it was a royal pain in the . . . well, you get the idea.

It’s been a month or two since I tried this, but I would be happy to help you troubleshoot it.
