Dear All,
The following error message is displayed while trying to upgrade from Lotus Notes 7.0.2 to 8.5.1.
“Cannot upgrade AllClient installation to Notes client. The upgrade you are attempting is not supported.”
The only workaround to this problem - which I could understand thus far, is to first have the older version of the Notes Client uninstalled, following which the newer version is to be installed.
This, of course, entails a lot of time - something which my users are loath to part with.
Is there some other process where I can have the users upgrade the client from 7.0.2 to 8.5.1 without going through the process of uninstalling 7.0.2 at first?
