I am having trouble connecting our Android Devices to our Lotus Notes Traveler Server.
Background and Info.
Server is installed by our owner in Germany. Windows Server 2008 R2 (German).
Lotus Notes Release 9.0.1FP2 HF384. In English eccept for IBM Notes Traveler, this is in german.
When I try to connect a Android phone with Lotus Notes Traveler. After I have logged on and try to setup sync i get this "“403 forbidden forbidden you don’t have permission to access / on this server” . I get same error on Nexus 5 running Android 5.0 and Samsung Galaxy S2 running Android 4.1.2.
I can without any problems access /homepage.nsf
/names.nsf from the browser on the phones.
Make sure the traveler server has access to your mailfile, check the ACL
try to run the command: tell traveler user CN=Firstname Lastname/O=Domain
2.1 Mailfile doesn not contain ID-File is not a problem
2.2 Entry not found in index is also not a problem, look for other problems
Make sure your traveler server can access the mail-server / cluster. Maybe you need to check dns or connection documents or network problems.
Try accessing the traveler server with the URL in the browser and check the status there. It should look like this:
I have no trouble opening the URL in browhttp://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/ndseforum.nsf/xpReply.xsp?documentId=666CF149F3FC799D85257D96004A43BF&action=editDocumentser on device

EDIT: I seem to have come a little bit closer. When I go to this webpage Notes Traveler 9 http://infolib.lotus.com/resources/domino/traveler/9/TR900ABD002/EN_US/NotesTraveler.html
And follow the guide “Connecting directly to IBM Notes Traveler”
I can connect with an Samsung Galaxy S2 and it’s default mail app that handles Exchange but IBM Notes Traveler still does not work.
