Cannot reply emails

One of our users reported that when he uses web mail with IE 8 on Windows 7, he cannot reply the incoming email. He can read the incoming email correctly. Once click reply, the contents of body is empty with a blue color note that “Use Rich Text Applet”. He clicks the link (Use Rich Text Applet) and the screen again displays a blank body of email. His email template is still ExtR7Mail. Doesn’t this template handle IE 8 blowser? Or any other issue?

Subject: Not positive…

But we’ve experienced some strange issues with responding or sending emails in IE8 with a notes7 mail template. That may be the issue.
