There is one more thing I forget to mention. Server A is R6, but the other one, Server B is R5. Is that the reason??
I have a problem with my agent. I need to access DBs in different servers and reference some data. R6 allows agents to do so, I know. However, our administrator enable Trusted Server, but it is not working. My agent still has met this kind of problem. Our administrator and I are kind of new in R6, so if any one knows the solution, please tell me… Thank you…

I have found that statement to be false. I have an agent that runs on an R6.5 server that accesses the log databases on servers running R5.
I, though, have a similar issue.
Scenario:
Agent X runs scheduled on Server A. Server A is 6.5.1. It goes out to Servers A, B, C, and D and opens the log.nsf files off these servers to gather information.
Server A is R6.5.1. Server B is R6.5.1. Server C is R5. Server D is R5.
The agent functions find on A and C, but returns the “trusted server” error listed above on B and D.
On ALL 4 servers’ Security tabs, the “Trusted Servers” field is blank. LocalDomainServers are in the agent security fiels of all servers. In fact, Security is exactly the same across all 4 servers.
Boggling.
