I have a custom control that I can no longer open in designer. Instead, an ‘xsp editor’ tab opens with just a view of the custom controls. The error may be related to some styles I have in an embedded view column on that custom control…but I cannot open the custom control to edit and fix. My backup is from way back so I hope I can get a method on how to open the custom control. thanks.Is there a way I can open the ‘source’ view directly of the custom control?
Subject: yes - you can “open with” a text or xml editor
you’ll need to go to the java perspective (or open the General/Navigator view). Find the custom control that is having problems, right click on it and choose the open with text editor (or xml editor) option.
