Cannot log into iNotes / WebMail Redirect

This is appears to be back - we last saw it in 7.0.2 - Users attempting to log into Webmail/iNotes thru WebMail Redirect receiving the error “, you have insuffcient rights for ”.

If they try again/ refresh the page after a few minutes, they are allowed in.

They obviously are able to authenticate to the server, the error message shows their complete name. They obviously have authority to their mail files.

this appears to be an issue with SSO.

It sound like it. Have you tested it? Maybe authenticating with a server and then switching to another one? Then do the same but the other way around?

Do you have several SSO documents? Maybe internet sites?

It works fine 99% of the time. These servers have been in place for 5 years, no configuration changes made in the past couple years, only thing that happens is we ‘upgrade’ the server.

Previous time we had an issue it started after upgrading to 7.0.2, and finally went away after installing 8.0.

It had been fine until this past week, (a few weeks ago I installed 8.5.1FP1).

I now have 2 users now experiencing the problem. It clears itself up after a couple hours and they are able to log in.

Both are logging directly into the server where their mail file is located - not being redirected to another server. But at the same time, the logs shows me that 10 - 15 other people are logging in, some being redirected, and all reading mail without a problem.

Are you still using the same old redirect or did you upgrade it too? I would create a new redirect with the newest template to see if that helps.

If you have the domlog enabled, maybe you can watch it to see what kind of request does the user make. Thats what I do when I had to debug the IHS installation (Although in the access log in Apache)

We have a websphere plugin and IHS to mask the requests and to send them to each server.
