Hello Everybody!!!
as the subject says, I can´t install notes client 6.5 on Windows 2000 server.
The installation process seems to be ok because no error message is displayed, but I got no files in the directory I specified and there no evidence of registration.
any ideas?
thanks in advance.

This should work fine, I have the same set-up and it’s OK. I take it there is no other Notes/Domino software on the server, did you select to install to the default drives etc?I’m running win2k server SP4…

thanks for your help, but I have all privileges (I´m administrator), and the LotusInstall.log has no error messages, the notes.exe is not “hidden”…so I don’t know what the problem is.(perhaps a conflict with other programs installed, but the pc is new, and it only has the OS, MS Office and a few programs…)I had to install notes 5
, and it works fine…

Are you logged on to windows with Administrator privilages?
Are you able to install any other software
Do a search for notes.exe, perhaps the install is burried somewhere.

Look for the file LotusInstall.log in the My Documents folder of the logged in user. That should contain some information about the status of the install. Post it here if you want.
