This person was moved from one server to another one but it still tries to log the user into her old server per error message. this person’s location document has been changed to the right one. her client was actually reinstalled on her desktop and still the same issue. could it be something in her id file?

chek location and connection document in personal names.nsf (local)
Subject: RE: cannot find server
sorry, if your location document is ok, you must to check network problems.Ping server_name
Ping IP_server
if your ping server_name does not response and to IP_server response is ok, then , you can solve that problem using a connection document to the server or a hosts file.

Things for you to check…
Network:
Can the user ping the server IP
Can the Name of the Domino Server be resolved to the IP address.
If this is not the case then why?
Lotus Notes:
How did you reinstall? (if you just copied the data directory back the all the settings there before are there now).
You mentioned the Location Document, make sure the Servers tab is correct for Notes resolution.
Try and create a new Location and try that. If that works delete the old one.
Bookmarks:
Try and connect to the Server via FILE > DB > OPEN. Then see what you get.
Remove the OLD bok mark and the COMACT the workspace
I am guessing you have tried all these first but I am just checking
You could posible add a local connection to aid connection.
