I have a user that was upgraded from 5.010 to 6.5.1 recently. They found that if you are in a document and choose Export, MS Word is no longer an option in the file type drop down. They are using some other program that interfaces with the Word documents, so they cannot use ASCII or the Microsoft RTF (which causes sporadic table corruption errors anyway). Is there any way to get MS Word BACK in that drop down as an option?
I did look back at a R5 client and compared the Notes.ini files and found a line in R5 that reads:
EDITEXP23=Microsoft Word 6.0,2,_XW4W,W4W49T/V0,.DOC,2,
I was curious how that would function if I pasted that line into a ND6 Notes.ini file and it returned an error saying the function was not available and that I needed to install the shipping version of Notes. (???)
Any ideas on how we can resolve this?

There are no plans to add the filters back from R5 into R6. It is recommended to use the RTF filter. This brings us to a problem
using the RTF filter. Unfortunately this is a known problem, which IBM have been attempting to address.
Unfortunately the fix introduced in 6.5.2 and 6.5.3 can cause word to crash when viewing the generated files. The fix is supposed to be in the next release (6.5.4) .
