Does anybody know why suddenly my Lotus Notes 8.0.2 client is giving this error “Cannot execute the specified command.”?

I don’t think anybody can help you unless you give some more details, e.g.: when is this happening, and what are you doing when it happens. Is it an error box with a button that pops up or just a note in the status bar, etc., etc. etc. …

Still not really enough info, but here a few questions:+What client version and what is the version of the mail file template?
+Have you tried to do the same in other mail files (to verify whether it is your PC or not)
+Have you run any maintenance against the mail file (e.e. replace/refresh design, fixup, updall, etc.)?
+Does this happen if you create a new, empty mail file (either locally or on a server) from a stock template (no company specific changes)?
If doing this kind of testing does not reveal some answers or show you a pattern, I suggest to open a ticket with IBM support, they will be able to help and also give you a

It is 8.0.2 client, using R7 mail template.I have the client installed in office PC which is working fine but my PC at home is giving this error.
Should you suggest to reinstall my Lotus Notes at my home PC?
Subject: problem caused by desktop6.ndk file
the problem was caused by updating the desktop6.ndk file. After re-copied all the notes.ini and desktop file from office PC, my home PC’s lotus notes work fine without error message already.
