We have started upgrading our users to 8.0.2 and have noticed the error message “Cannot execute specified command” when users click a button that contains @Command([ViewRefreshFields]) or @PostedCommand([ViewRefreshFields])
I searched this forum, but couldn’t find any references. Has anyone else had problems with these commands in 8? We use these commands in almost all of our many Formula buttons, so re-writing all in script would not be feasible. Is there a new @Command that replaced these?
I had the same thing happen after upgrading to Vs. 8.X. I could not edit my own location document without getting the same msg. Also the tab name had the word(Truncated) in it.
Here is what I did to fix it:
Under ‘Actions’ click ‘Open entire document’(or something like that) and select from the dropdown for the document that is failing.
You should now be able to edit the downloaded document.
Save it then close Notes but do NOT choose Yes to update the server.
Reopen Notes and edit the document again. Saving it as usual.
Close notes, this time choose ‘YES’ to update the server.
Reopen Notes and try to edit the document again. This time it should edit without the error msg.
Hope this helps. I suppose that sometime a truncated copy of my loc. doc. got back to my roaming profile on the server and kept coming back to me.
