Cannot Edit / update form

Hi,

There is a from in the database (A) which has Approve button, clicking on which creates a document in another database (B). This document which is created in another database wil be sent as a link to the users. And when the user tries to click on the link it opens the document but it cannot be editable nor can be updated. I checked the complete form there are no Author or Readers fields nor the Defailt access is set to Author or lower.

Do you think this is a corrupted form in the other database (B).

Any help is appreciated.

Subject: Cannot Edit / update form

You say the access is author and there are no author fields. Therefore people will not be able to edit it. That’s the way it’s designed to work.

If you want people to edit the form then they either need to be editors or, if they’re authors they need to be in an authors field on the document
