Cannot drop server's handle on a database

ServerA and ServerB are one cluster which replicates with ServerC and ServerD in another cluster.

In order to make a new copy of a user’s mail file, I deleted the copies from ServersB-D and made a new copy from ServerA to ServerB.

Now I’m trying to make a new replica from ServerB to ServerA but I get the “database is in use by you or another user” error.

So I go to the Domino Admin client and see that the database is in use by ServerD?!?

I try to do a drop, a dbcache flush then drop, nothing will get ServerD off the database

any ideas?

Subject: Cannot drop server’s handle on a database

Is there an agent running? How long has the server been up? Sometimes a server can hang onto threads if it’s been up for a long time. You may need to restart the server in order for the handle to be dropped.
