Cannot disable Single Singnon / Citrix Client

Hi all,

we do not use single signon in our company, so the related services are not running on our Citrix servers. Still, I have a single user where the Checkbox in file–>secutity–>user security is checked and disabled (grayed out), so the client asks the user to synchronize the paswords. Now, the user doesn’t want to use the same password - how do I uncheck that box? Since the Client is running on the Citrix server the user doesn’t have access to the registry or to any services that are running.

For all other users the checkbox is unchecked and grayed out, so there is no problem…

Hi,in my experience (not sure wether this applies to your specific Citrix situation though, no hands-on experience here, sorry…) issues with a “greyed out” option “Login to Notes using your operating system login” can be fixed through checking:

start\settings\control panel\administrative tools\services

Service: "Lotus Notes Single Logon’ (C:\WINNT\system32\nslsvice.exe)

Check wether this executable exists and the current Windows-User has sufficient local rights to launch services etc.

Hi,

that might actually be the solution: It will not change the status of thh checkbox, but once the service is running it should be posible to do that manually, since it will no longer be disabled… Once the box is unchecked the service can be stopped again.

Thanks a lot for your Help!
