I just install the New Notes Admin-design 8.5.1 on my computer
Everything is working ok but I just find out that when I try to manage part of my Notes servers, I cannot do it. I need to delete a user and when trying I got this error:
“The requested function is not supported by the software on this server”.
The server is a 7.0.3FP1. I was able with 8.5 and now not able to with 8.5.1 why
Since I install the new version, maybe problem like this occured (business card not see anymore(post it in the Forum))
I was told that 8.5.1 will still be able to manage older Domino version
Unfortunately, a regression was introduced in the 8.51.

the work around is to not use the “immediate” option. Incidentally, the immediate option is not the best way
to delete users. That option causes the administration client to search the entire Domino Directory and make changes to documents. The preferred method is via Adminp.
Even with the “immediate” option unchecked, the person document is removed immediately by the Administration Client, it just is the clean up of the Domino Directory that is backgrounded (via adminp)
I’m surprise to see that with 8.5.1, some functions were removed. For now, I’m not really delighted about this new version. Some bugs and weird problems occured, glab that my upgrade project was push back a bit…Hope that fixes will be available soon to solve issues.
