Cannot delete mails & new mails look still "new" even after reading them

Today my mailbox has been acting weird. I can’t delete mails from Inbox, Sent or personal folders. What happens is that I press the Delete button on my keyboard or the Trash can button on Notes and nothing happens. If I do it again then it says “non existent document”. For me to see that old e-mails are deleted, I either have to close my mailbox and open it again or go to another folder and then back to, for ex. Inbox.

Same thing happens with new mails. I have it configured so that e-mails I open with the preview pane are marked as read, but no. I have to do one of the above “workarounds”.

My ACL is Editor with delete, create personal folders/views and create shared folders/views. I also have an Admin account that is a Manager. I refreshed and then replaced the design. My template is csld8 based on StdR8Mail.

What else can I try? I don’t know how to write Lotus Script.

Try running maintenance on your mail file. You could try the following commands, as a suggestion:

Load Fixup mail\username.nsf -f -n Full no purge

Load Compact mail\username.nsf -c -d -i Copy Style - Delete Views - Ignore Errors

Load Updall mail\username.nsf -r Rebuilding Views
