Normally, when we see the “Exection Security Alert”, we can choose to trust the signer and create a cross cert. But in one of my user’s computer, there is no such option. He can only choose “Do Not Execute the Action”, and thus he can’t run the script in the database. Is there any settings to let him capable to create cross cert.?

Try going to File\Security\User security, What Others Can Do.
Can you Refresh All or is it all a bit grey?
If you can’t refresh, shut down Notes, wipe out the user’s bookmark.nsf and restart.
Hope this solves your user’s issue.

Thanks, I’ll tell user to try.
My teamate has tried to solve the problem by re-sign the database with another ID, which has the same domain to the user. But still although we can see that the signer has changed in Domino Designer, the user still see the error mesasge, which the error message said the database signature has not changed. Maybe it is some kind of cache?

Certainly not a bad idea to delete the cache.ndk at the same time that you’re wiping out the bookmark.nsf

BTW, I’m presuming there aren’t policies involved? If there are, then this probably isn’t a client corruption issue…

Thanks, I’ve told the user to try, see if it works.
Actually there are really some security policies applied to users, but the policies applies to all users, not just him. Thus I think it should be problem with his Notes client only.

Quick question… are you managing all client ECL’s globally? If not, you might check to see if the user in question went in and changed their ECL. Just a thought. Hope it helps.Regards,
