Cannot create a DSN connecting to Lotus NotesSQL Driver

I have installed Lotus NotesSQL Driver successfully. When I was trying to create a DSN for the driver, I encountered with the following error message:

“The setup routines for the Lotus NotesSQL Driver (*.nsf) ODBC could not be loaded due to system error code 126.”

When I pressed the OK button, the error message box turned to:

“Could not load the setup or translator library.”

In term of the error, somebody suggested me to add two entries “C:\NotesSQL” and “C:\Program Files\lotus\notes” into the Environment Variable “Path” from Control Panel. Then I followed the suggestions, but the problem was still there, even after I had restarted my PC.

Who can provide any solutions?

Is it “C:\Program Files\lotus\notes” where Lotus Notes client is installed? Do you see nlnotes.exe in this folder.

If you refer to this link, adding installation location of Notes client and NotesSQL did the trick:

Hi, Byju Joy,

Yes, the file nlnotes.exe is under the directory “C:\Program Files\lotus\notes”. Actually, I have already gone through the link you mentioned, and have tried the given solutions. However, whether I add one entry or two entries into the “Path” directory, the problem is still there. So I don’t know how to to and have to seek help from you.
