I have a user who attempted to confirme a meeting which he wasnt the chair. He gets the message saying he not authorized to perform this action. Which he should. But clicking on the OK button doesn’t work. The message doesn’t disapear. Notes has to be killed to get out of it. The PC has not hung because he can open up other software. It’s as if there is another hidden dialog box somewhere that needs responding to; but if that is the case there is no way of getting to it.Any ideas gratefully received.

have the user try this: when the OK prompt displays have him try clicking the OK button. If it does nothing have him try pressing the space bar, does the prompt close?

Hello Paul, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the space bar does not close the prompt either.The prompt closes OK for me (when I click OK) but not for this particular user/PC.
Any other thoughts?

sorry, can’t think of anything else off hand. Would be easier if I could actually see it happening.
