Cannot change Documen's UNID

I had a problem with a user who was useing notes client 6.02. The user did soemtthing to her client (they cannot recall what!) and when they opened the client they could not read thier mail. The got messages that the document no longer exists and that variant does not contain an object. I ugraded to notes 6.5 but that did not solve the problem. I uninstalled the client and delete the lotus directory and then reinstalled the client. When the user enters thier password the get the message “cannot change documents’s UNID” and then the client exists. They are able to read thier mail from a browser as i have Inotes running.Short of going into the registry, do you know how to resolve this? Thanks in advance

Regards.

Marlon

First try to delete cache.ndk, if that doesn’t work, try deleting bookmark.nsf

I have setup a fresh client on my PC and am still getting the same error only when trying to save a document in the mailfile. Can send mail without saving ok.
