Cannot add a contact from Personal Address Book to a group

I cannot add a contact from a Personal Address Book to a group.I create a new group (or edit an existing), click on the dropdown to add Members, select the Personal Addess Book (Carol’s Address Book), select a name on the Left, click ADD, the name does not move to the Right side.

However, if I open the Contact, do not make any changes, then Save & Close, I am able to add this contact to the group.

Made registry changes - regedit - using the instructions in this document.

Using Method 2.

The only STRING VALUE present was MAPI. Added the others.
