Cannot access Domino Server Using a Web Browser!

Hi All,I have installed a Domino Server on RH Linux ES, and is working fine. But I’m having a problem in accessing the server using IE.

On the Domino Console it does not say…

HTTP Server Listen for connect requests on TCP Port:80

It says…

HTTP Server HTTP Server Initializing

Any Comments???

It sounds to me that port 80 is being used by some other task. Do you have another HTTP server running on your machine?

Up to my knowladge, I dont think that any other HTTP server is running in my machine. Since I’m a newbie for Linux, I installed all the applications in Linux ES exept Send Mail & Apache.

there is no other http task running like apache. Domino http task is the only one.

Any other ideas?

Same problem!

Starting the server without http task, there is no problem. After loading the http task at server console the problem is starting…

just can kill server with kill -9 command. Not a nice idea!

Installed a new and clean server and there the http task is up and running properly.

Any ideas?
