Cannot Access Archive

I have a user that when she tries to access her archive she receivesthe following error message:

  • Illegal parenthesized reference: COMPACTMAILRULES

  • Duplicate PUBIC name ACTION_VIEWSTATUS in USE module CSEventNotes

  • Cannot find external name: SWIFTFILEINITIALIZE

  • XXXXXXXX_XXXXXXX_(Archive): TERMINATE:

    Cannot find external name: SWIFTFILETERMINATE

     (Where XXXXXX represents the username)

I’ve searched numerous forums and groups but I’m coming up blank…

I’ve tried compacting the archive as well as running nupdall.exe and

nfixup.exe, nothing has resolved the problem.

After acknowledging the errors, I can see a few of the folders in the

archive and only a small number of emails… 6 to be exact. They are

numbered and if you double click they will open up after giving you

these errors:

  • Duplicate PUBLIC name CMEMOOBJECT in USE module CoreEmailClasses.

For one message, I get this message twice:

  • Cannot Locate Form: Reply

then the above once more, then the message will open.

Subject: Cannot Access Archive

Almost sounds like the template version difference or a modified stock template. Was the Archive created from a previous version of Notes than the current client version? Were any modifications ever made to the Archive’s design?

We did upgrade from 7.0 to 7.0.2 However no modifications were ever made. At least nothing intentional. :slight_smile:

Do you have access to the Archive’s design? If it’s complaining about not finding the form “Reply” then there is definitely something amiss with the Archive. Check there first and also to see if the database is inheriting from some template other than “StdR7Mail”.

Ok, I Refreshed the Design from the server and that resolved the problem! Thanks for the help!!
