I’m running Notes 8.5 client on Windows 7 Pro (a choice that’s not available in the Platform choices ![]()
I have set my Preferences (Calendar & To Do:Display:View) to “Process cancelled meetings automatically”/“Remove from Calendar”. But when a meeting is cancelled, it doesn’t get removed from the calendar display. Instead it remains there until I click on it, at which time it disappears.
The result is that I see no email notification of the cancellation and the meeting still appears in my calendar.
(I’m not sure if I recall correctly, but I think I’ve seen a similar effect when I choose “Show as cancelled in calendar”)
I’ve had to turn off automatic processing so I can at least see an indication of the change, if only in my inbox.
I don’t know if it bears on this problem, but I have my calendar open in a separate window from my main Notes window.
Isn’t there any way to get Notes to update its screens when a change occurs?
