One of our users likes to open his first new email and then hit the Delete button. Seems to take too long to delete the email. In notes 5 it marked it for deletion and then asked us if we wanted to delete the marked emails when we exited the database.
Can you set something in notes 6 to act like notes 5 so it doesn’t take so long to preuse your emails?

file->prefrence->user prefrence → basic tab ->below default font → choose the list box ->prompt me before database close and hit OK

Sounds like you may have enabled soft deletes for that users mail file. Turning that off will have R6 mimic R5.

The Soft Deletes option is on the database properties.
