The installation instructions for Traveler 8.5.1 say that a HTTP password is required. Can a DSAPI filter be used instead to authenticate against other credentials?

Basically Traveler uses the standard Domino authentication mechanisms, so this is really more of a question, can you setup the Domino Server with the desired type of Authentication. For example we use an LDAP Server and configured Domino Directory Assistance to use this LDAP server and it works fine. None of our users even have a Domino HTTP password.
Probably best way to test is just use standard HTTP Authentication - I.E. setup your Domino Server to require authentication on standard port 80, then hit the domino server with a web browser (http:\hostname). If you can log in successfully to the HTTP Server then Traveler should work fine as well.
