Can the RSS Feed Reader in 8.0.1 parse RSS 2.0 feeds?

I created a feed in a Domino database using the RSS 2.0 standard. It works fine in the Google reader.

When I try to subscribe to this feed in the Notes 8.0.1 client I get an error:

Unable to parse feed from www.tlcc.com

Is this an RSS version issue? Should I recreate the feed in a different RSS version?

Subject: Got it working

I guess the Notes RSS reader is not as forgiving of errors as the Google reader.

I found the http://feedvalidator.org/ site and that showed me several errors.

Now it works.
