Can someone outline the steps to setup a mail cluster

I’m hoping someone can help me out here. I have been reading and reading the Admin guide and can’t seem to find any clearly defined steps. I am looking at setting up my 1st ever cluster. I am looking to cluster our mail server. The users of the mail server use both iNotes and the client. I will have 2 servers in my cluster and would like them to be a Failover and load balancing cluster.

I cannot for the life of me find any defined steps to take to setup the cluster and hope someone wold jot down the steps. These are the steps I think they should be done in, but am not sure.

1.) build the new Domino server

2.) Replicate all the Mailfiles and other databases to the new server

3.) Install additional programs and setup for clustering (We have our mail system unified with Cisco unity voicemail and use Logic Springs Department calendar)

4.)Setup the cluster

5.) setup the IP Sprayer.

Is this remotely close or am I way off base? Am I missing anything?

Subject: Additional stuff to look at.

You will need to set up regular replication between cluster mates. Also, you may want to load balance the users. Meaning don’t have all the users one once side of the Cluster while the other side and just hums idol. If you have 2 servers in a cluster then have half of the users primary home mail server on one and half on the other. That should balance the physical load. I hope that helped.
