Can not use PutAllInFolder for moving response document(s) only, help please

HiI am using Call collection.putallinfolder(foldername) to only move selected response document(s) to a folder, but I got this message:

“Notes error: To move a response document to a folder that shows response hierarchy you need move the topmost parent of the response(folder name)”, It seems I need move its parent document as well.

But I only need to move the response to that folder and do some more programming for that selected document(s) on that folder, Is this possible?

Sure – just deselect the “Show response documents in a hierarchy” option on the “i” tab of the folder properties.
