This may be a R5-R6 thing. There are documents created with no Author/Reader items. They can be used by all users (Author in the acl) but they can not be seen in a view.( the ones created since going to R6 ) - not even a view @All.
BUT another script which gets these documents by Key and it gets the invisible documents?
In user terms these are exception documents, created by a few admins, to override what vacation times a person gets.
Subject: can not see documents
Are they response documents? If so, make sure your view does not have the property ‘Show response documents in a heirarchy’ set otherwise you won’t be able to see them.

No they are just regular documents with no Author or Reader fields.I was thinking of putting one of each in , Author for a certain [adminrole] and * for Readers. Then a 1 time refresh agent.
But I can not change to ones I can not see.
