I am not able to open application within Designer. It was working earlier(with problems) but now I can not open any database. It says 'opening ***.nsf" in the progress tab.Any help?
Subject: Database Design will not open
I am also experiencing a similar problem with several of our applications. They simply will not open in the Notes 8.5 eclipse designer.
The progress bar sits around 25% complete and seems to stall and will not open in the designer.
I have attempted rebuilding the workspace folder and also using working sets but still no joy. The design will just not open.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If so do you have a workaround?

We cannot open any of our larger databases either. I looks like 8.5 designer is just not ready for production. I hope it is by the time need to use it.

I just upgraded my 8.0.2 to 8.5 designer. I cannot open any database. The progress bar just keep running, but nothing ever shows up in the perspective. I guess, I will uninstall and put 8.0.2 back. Here I was all excited about using the new designer.

I have several apps open in the designer client (8.5) and they are fine. I tried to open another, older app, and it just sits there with the progress bar, never loads and eventually kills the designer. I even made a local copy of the database design only and am unable to open that in designer as well.
I will likely be calling in a service request with Lotus on this.
