I have installed the Lotus Notes 6 on my PC and I tried to connect to my Email address on internet. Here is the problem: When I want to send or receive some test mails from my account become the message that SMTP don’t function.Can anybody help me to indicate the steps I have to do.

This can be a bit tricky at times.
I use it regularly at home where I get internet mail delivered to my Lotus Notes mailbox.
I did post a detailed instruction set on the Domino 4/5 Forum some time ago, but when I tried to look for it, I could not find it.
If you are interested, I can hunt it up again.

In the current location document under the mail tab… Send Outgoing mail directly to the internet.
