Can LEI and DECS run together?

Hello

Just a quick query re: DECs & LEI. I understand the basic differences between the two, but my question is:

Can they both be run on the same server ?

Reason is that I have ‘inherited’ a system that uses extensive DECS connectors across multiple databases , but i definitely need to set up LEI for a new database and it would make more sense to put it on the one server with all the databases. If i can’t run them together, i will have to look at how muck work / time it will take to convert the DECs connectors to LEI.’

No, but they don’t need to. LEI is a superset of DECS. Your old DECS activities should continue to work after you install DECS.

I planned to install LEI on my test server to find out my own answer. That will also give me an idea whether the DECS activities will continue as expected.

Hopefully i will be pleasantly surprised out how easy it is :wink:
