Can I use an R6 Desktop Policy for R5.11 client?

What I’m attempting to do is get all R5 non iNotes5.ntf users to all use iNotes5.ntf.

I created a Desktop Policy setting (in R6.5.1) and under Mail Template Information I specified that if the old design template is StdR50Mail, and running Release 5.0.11, that I would like it to use the iNotes5.ntf.

I then log on as a user that fits this criteria and review the properties of their mail file in the R5 client. The template information hasn’t changed. Is that correct or is there something else that I’m missing?

Subject: Conversion Utility

The mail conversion utility will allow you to change the template assigned to one or more mail databases. Search Admin Help for “mail conversion utility”.
