If I am in a rich text field (like an email). There is an option in the text menu that says “Pass thru HTML”. I would asume this works just like in designer but it does not. It seems to have no effect.
Am I doing somehting wrong or does it just not work?
If I am doing something wrong then what?
If the the menu item is non functional then why is it there? Notes seems to really like disabling menu items when they probably should not be disabled (example no view goto on a frameset displaying only pages).

You mean like this?
This line and this line of text was created using passthru HTML
Simply go to
Text > Pass-Thru HTML while you're in your Rich Text Field
Not sure you can see the code… but I used pass-thru for the paragraph above.
Note that the form has to be enabled for pass-thru HTML
And I don’t think this Form (the forum) has it on…

I gave this a try. I created a brand new database. Created a form with a richtext field. I was sure to set the property as mentioned above.
In the client:
I created a new document with the following HTML in the Notes client
Google
I then marked it for passthru HTML. Saved and exited the document.
I then opened it in read mode in the Notes client. The text was not rendered to HTML.

Thanks Yanick,
I see the memo form in the Mail template does not have this property enabled. I’d really like to be able to send out HTML but our admins would never allow a design change to the mail template.
I suppose I could send my own form with document with this property enabled.
Anyone know why this property would not be set on the memo form?
