I have a form with a computed “To:” field I want to load based on a users location. For instance if Location = “Dallas” I use @Setfield to set the To: field = “John Doe, Bob Doe”. If Location = Chicago I use @Setfield to set the To: field = “John Smith, Mary Poppins”.
What I would like to do is load the field with the default user list but also be able to add or remove names from the default list before saving the document. Is that possible ?

That is exactly what the default value on an editable field does.

Hmm, How are you doing you setting your field? From a button, a field, from code within the field?
A computed field will always compute to whatever you have coded in your field, formula, lookup, etc… So editting this field via a button would not hold, it would always compute back to whatever you told it in your field. However if this is a Computed when composed then you can “edit” the field from a button or formula from another field or event.
This is well documented in your Designer Help.
