I have 8.5FP1 HF 147 installed but I am having a problem with random server crashes due to IMAP/MIME issues. I submitted a PMR and was advised that the problem is related to SPR #JCHS7NNM56. I am advised that 8.5IF2 includes a fix for SPR #JCHS7NNM56.
My question is…Can I install 8.5IF2 over my current installation or do I have to remove my previous FP1 and HF 147?
Subject: Remove Hotfixes before a Fix pack Installation
The Fix packs are setup based upon a previous code level. As a hot fix is a one-off for a customer, it may be included in the FP2 update. Although you should test first, but remove the HF147 and then apply FP2.
If the issue your hot fix addresses is not in FP2, then have Lotus rebuild your hot fix for FP2.
