I know I can chose IE as my embedded notes browser, but Firefox is such a better browser. I would like to chose it, but it doesn’t seem like that is a choice. Any way to do thist?

Edit your current location document.

Under the internet browser tab, select “Other” for Internet Browser.

Put in the path to the firefox executable. Most likely C:\program files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

That’s not exactly what Bryan had asked for.
To the best of my knowledge there’s no way to use Firefox or any other browser embedded in the Notes client. If you choose to set Firefox as your default browser, as outlined by Christopher, be prepared to loose some of the DXL tools from the Tools menu in Designer (if this is a concern for you).

Yes, I was asking to use FireFox as my embedded browser. We are not on 8 yet, that would be great if 8 does that. Why doesn’t 7.0 allow Firefox to be embedded, I wonder?

Doesn’t R8 standard do this? Don’t have an R8 client handy to test this with, anyone able to confirm or deny?
In R7, there’s no way to use anything but IE for the embedded browser option.
