Can I attach both my devices - iPad and iPhone to the Traveler

Hello,

Is it possible to attach my iPad along with my iPhone to my mailbox with IBM Travaler?

Yes. I have both (along with other non-Apple devices too), and they all work.

I connect ipad, iphone and s60v3 onto one traveler 8.5.2-server and everything is running. Possibly you have to configure ipad as exchange-account, leaving the domain-section free and point the start-page to servlet/traveler.

Another user has connected wm6.5 and ipad and it´s running as well.

As I´m using ipad and iphone on 8.5.2-server I actually cannot remember how it was on 8.5.1, but on the 8.5.1-server I had connected iPhone and s60v3 (nokia e75) simultanously.

Yes. I don’t know if there is an actual limit to how many devices you can connect at the same time to one mail file however I’ve had 2 (iPad and iPod touch) both configured to my mail file without any issues.

iOS 4.2 was just released this morning, I’d recommend you upgrade the iPad to that as mail with iOS 4+ is much improved.

This is def. possible. We have users who have iPads and Iphones setup and then other users who have iPads setup in Traveler and BB’s setup on a BES server. Everything seems to work great.
