Can Domino deal with greylisting enabled smtp listeners?

Hello.

How do you deal with messaging systems that are greylisting enabled? I have a case where sender gets non delivery for recipients who have greylisting enabled. Domino console shows:

.

2009.07.15 08:08:53 Router: [0000007A] Transferring mail to domain acme.com (host mx2.acme.com [x.y.w.z]) via SMTP

2009.07.15 08:09:22 Router: Transferred 1 messages to acme.com (host mx2.acme.com) via SMTP

2009.07.15 08:09:25 Router: Message 004B1F17 NOT transferred via SMTP to mx2.acme.com for firstname1.lastname1@acme.com from Firstname Lastname/organization@DOMAIN Size: 89K 421 Greylisted!! Please try again in a few minutes.

2009.07.15 08:09:25 Router: Message 004B1F17 NOT transferred via SMTP to mx2.acme.com for firstname2.lastname2@acme.com from Firstname Lastname/organization@DOMAIN Size: 89K Error transferring to mx2.acme.com; Remote system no longer responding

2009.07.15 08:09:25 Router: [0000007A] Transferring mail to server/organization via Notes

2009.07.15 08:09:30 Router: Message 001C5425 transferred to server/organization for Firstname Lastname/organization@DOMAIN from Firstname Lastname/organization@DOMAIN Size: 90K via Notes

.

User got non delivery report:

Delivery Failure Report Your message: subject

was not delivered to: firstname1.lastname1@acme.com

because: Error transferring to mx2.acme.com; Remote system no longer responding

.

Any ideas?

.

Subject: the reason

Sender sent email to 2 recipients to acme.com domain. mx2.acme.com server dropped connection after answering “Greylisted!! Please try again in a few minutes.” Domino server tried to say “rcpt to: firstname2.lastname2” but got connection closed. Thus Domino sent non delivery report for for second recipient and waited and retried for first recipient. .

Question: should smtp listener drop connection after saying “Greylisted!! Please try again in a few minutes.” ???
