I cannot find explanation of this anywhere. It’s from a line in CSEventClass script library…
If Not(DoDialogBox(“(OwnerDlg)”, True, True, False , False, False, False, Me.m_strtable.GetString(iTitle, “”), note, True, False)) Then
Call note.ReplaceItemValue("tmpRemoveNames", Fulltrim(vExistingRemovedList))
RemoveParticipants = False
Exit Function
End If
I’m having trouble with RemoveParticipants and I need to understand what this command is supposed to bring back.
Any help please???
Subject: can anyone explain “DoDialogBox”
CSEventNotes has it defined as:
Function DoDialogBox(formname As String, autohorzfit, autovertfit, nocancel, nonewfields, nofieldupdate, readonly, title As String, notesdocument, sizetotable, nookcancel) As Variant
DoDialogBox = m_ws.Dialogbox( formname, autohorzfit, autovertfit, nocancel, nonewfields, nofieldupdate, readonly, title, notesdocument, sizetotable, nookcancel)
End Function
Subject: RE: can anyone explain “DoDialogBox”
Peter, thank you for that info. I now have some idea what’s happening. Maybe you also will be able to explain another undocumented action in the same routine …
vtmpParticipantList = m_beobject.GetParticipantNames()
What does GetParticipantNames do - it obvioulsy retrieves a list of participants, but from where. Other postings in the forum have asked the same question - my problem here is that although all the fields containing participant names seems to be populated OK, this line returns nothing, so RemoveParticipants is not working.
