The LS to add a role to is not difficult using the NotesACl Class. Look in the help for an explaination. If this is a one time one database that works fine. We have created the Workflo!ACL Manager that take the work out of the process. So if you want to add a group into every database in the Mail Folder the ACL MAnager does this painlessly. plus you can do batch updates to selected DBs and add or remove a person or group, as well as change dafault access etc. It is a great tool to audit your system to find out who can do what.
