Calling java agent from a view button

I am calling a java agent (in the agent list) from a view button. All it does is get some values from a document and then attempt to post them to another server.

I know I am accessing the document because I can print field values to the java console

The process by which I do the post is actually a call to another (3rd party) .jar file. It’s called client.jar. I placed it in the same directory as notes.jar and made an entry to the .ini file as follows:

JavaUserClasses=C:\Program Files\Lotus\notes\notes.jar;C:\Program Files\Lotus\notes\client.jar;

When I run the agent, here’s what shows in the console:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/wm/app/b2b/client/Context

at JavaAgent.NotesMain(JavaAgent.java:60)

at lotus.domino.AgentBase.runNotes(Unknown Source)

at lotus.domino.NotesThread.run(NotesThread.java:208)

Can anyone tell if this is an error in the clients .jar file or is this is in my configuration?

Thanks in advance for any assist.

Open up your client.jar file with WinRAR or something similar. If you don’t see the class/package structure in it, you’re probably missing at least one other jar file. If you do see the class/package structure in it, you’re classpath is not set properly.dgg
